Your use of those tools, websites, forms, providers and services, or products is subject to your compliance with the policy set forth in this Privacy Policy agreement, which supplements any additional guidelines or other terms posted by us. We reserve the right to update or modify the Privacy Policy without advance notice by posting a revised Privacy Policy to this website. Blue Violet Publishing, LLC, and/or any of its DBAs, collects and maintains certain personal information about you when you send us an e-mail or complete any of our online forms such as but not limited to requesting a service or submitting a form or replying to email. We share information with store/service providers (such as Shopify, Etsy, and Patreon) as necessary to provide you services and products and comply with our obligations under both the Seller Policies and Terms of Use those services state.

If your subscribe to our newsletter, we use MailChimp as our newsletter manager for any DBAs.

Legal Purposes. Blue Violet Publishing, LLC, does not collect or compile personal information for distribution to other parties outside of business as an author under the pen names Abigail Owen, Kadie Scott, Kristen McKanagh, and Abbie Wilde, or under Authors On A Dime, which provides author services. Except as described below.

We will disclose personal information to comply with valid legal processes such as a search warrant, subpoena, or court order, judicial process or regulatory authorities, to prevent fraudulent transactions, or to protect our rights and property.

Controlling Your Information

PAYPAL / VENMO

Contracts, data stored in PayPal.com, Venmo.com, or data used in relation to any paid-for business transactions that you’ve completed with Blue Violet Publishing, LLC, and/or any of its DBAs, will NOT be deleted, as that information is needed for (and will only be used for) tax/business/legal purposes.

SHOPIFY

All personal information on our Shopify store (https://abigailowen.myshopify.com/) is controlled via your personal Shopify account. See the Shopify privacy policy for controlling your information there.

ETSY

All personal information on our previous Etsy store (https://www.etsy.com/shop/authorabigailowen) is controlled via your personal Etsy account. See the Etsy privacy policy for controlling your information there.

PATREON

All personal information on our Patreon site (http://patreon.com/abigailowen) is controlled via your personal Patreon account. See the Patreon privacy policy for controlling your information there.

All personal information on our social media sites platforms such as Facebook, Twitter/X, Instagram, TikTok, and others, is controlled via your personal account on each specific socail media platform. NEWSLETTERS VIA MAILCHIMP

When you opt to join our newsletter via MailChimp, newsletter builder sign ups, giveaway sign ups that are stated as newsletter builders, or other opt in subscription methods, if at a later time you wish to change your participation in our mailing list, you may opt-out by clicking “Unsubscribe” at the bottom of the most recent email, or sending an e-mail through our Contact page, stating that you would like to be removed from our mailing list (please specify which mailing list(s): Abigail Owen, Kadie Scott, Kristen McKanagh, Authors On A Dime, Author ARC Team, or Writing Retreats). You will receive confirmation that we have received your communication.

You may request details of personal information which we hold about you under the Data Protection Act 1998 as well as the GDPR rules effective May 25, 2018.
